Holy Panchayat (Learnings) by Munshi Premchand

Premchand's style of writing has a charm of its own he just teleports you to the whole new different world and always shows the society their true image in a very subtle way. Now lets come to the story we are going to talk about in this article. This story hammers the thinking about the women by showing how an old woman fights for herself in " Panchayat ", even after going through so much of humiliation and cruelty faced by the society. There is also a beautiful irony in this particular story where the writer portrays how at the beginning both the friends made their friendship based on matching of their opinion.
